Tax Counseling
Free income tax preparation is available to Adams County seniors, disabled persons, low- and moderate-income taxpayers, and others needing help with preparing their annual tax returns. Preference is given to older adults.
The program is offered through a partnership between the Adams County Treasurer, The Senior Hub, and the Internal Revenue Service. Tax assistance sites are operated in Brighton, Commerce City, Northglenn, Thornton, and Westminster. All tax sites offer electronic filing.
A list of tax sites including days and hours of operation will be posted on this page every year during the tax season (January through April 15).
